COCORE: The Colorado Coalition of Reason

Welcome

COCORE, the Colorado Coalition of Reason, is an umbrella organization made up several member groups.

We encourage other freethinker, atheist, or humanist groups to join us. There are no COCORE officers. Each organization, as the need arises, will take the lead on the activity.

Those activities include:

social get-togethers,
having booths at fairs,
sponsoring exchange students,
picketing religious intolerance,
opposing evangelical legislation,
providing secular speakers to organizations and schools,
and community activities that support atheism and secular humanism.

We do our best to support those who are victims of religious harassment.

Welcome to our newest member group, The Metropolitan State College Atheists of Denver. Their contact information is located on our links page to the left. As soon as they have a schedule for meetings at the Auroria Campus, it will be listed on the events page. As soon as we have the picture and bio of the group president, Joel Guttormson, we will also post an entry on the Movers & Shakers page. Welcome MSCD Atheists!

Posted on this website are the links to the organizations.

If you have questions about COCORE, or need a speaker for your organization or school to discuss atheism or secular humanism, please contact us at cocore3@q.com.

Billboard COCORE is starting a new project to post a secular message on a Colorado billboard designed to encourage viewers to contact the cocore.org website and from there, use links to the COCORE organizations.

COCORE groups are encouraged to be involved in the project with message suggestions and to contribute to the cost of the project.

The above picture is similar to a billboard posted by a New Jersey secular group. They have agreed, if we wish to, to provide camera-ready art for the billboard.

PayPal and donation information for the billboard project will be posted in the near future.

Dan Culberson and David Eller have published new books. Click their bios on the Movers & Shakers page.

See the events page for information on a new Colorado secular group that is forming.
