COCORE: The Colorado Coalition of Reason

Tim Bailey

Tim Bailey is the current President of the Board of the Humanists of Colorado. His goals with the organization are:
first to educate members and the community as to what Humanism is and how it relies on the sciences, the arts, and philosophy; and second, to provide a community for Secular Humanists to share what they've learned with each other.

Though not quite interested in labels, he is considered to be a secular humanist, an atheist, and a skeptic when it comes to unsupported claims.

When not writing articles and letters in support of science, secular humanism, freethought, and state-churches separation, he travels on average two weeks per month as a trainer for database solutions with a local Denver company.

He is an active member of the following organizations:
American Humanist Association.
Council for Secular Humanism.
Committee for Skeptical Inquiry.
Center for Inquiry.
American Atheists.
Freedom From Religion Foundation.
Atheist Alliance International.
American Civil Liberties Union.
Americans United for the Separation of Church and State.
Skeptics Society.

He is available for presentations to schools or organizations. You may contact him by e-mail.
